Installation & Configuration (on-site)
The Relavis developer will work on site during the project to assist the technical specialists with setting up the application on your servers. This action can occur before customization begins in order to address any technical considerations. Tasks associated with this service may include:
- Installations on your server.
- Connections to data stores or other software, if required
- On-site consulting to configure the system for use.
Infrastructure Review
To ensure that your infrastructure is established and configured most appropriately for an implementation, a two-day meeting may be held to provide recommendations from Relavis, reviewing any pertinent aspects that must be addressed from a technical standpoint.
Customization
The Relavis developer(s) will implement the changes that have been described in detail in the specifications document. This work will begin after the project team has reviewed the document and determined that these changes will accurately represent the decisions made at the BRD meeting.
Acceptance Testing Support & Revisions
After the Customization work has been completed, your project team will begin evaluation of the resulting functionality that has been put into place. Typically, the project team will have received training by this time to assist them in effectively examining these changes, and will be actively working to provide feedback to the project manager.
Customization Documentation
This includes the technical documentation related to the customization performed. Documentation is provided on all elements added, modified, or deleted, and is delivered in the Project Status Database. This documentation is ultimately used by the customer’s technical support team and is instrumental in facilitating the upgrade process.
Data Load Preparation
The Relavis developer will work with the technical specialists to prepare for inclusion of any existing data to be accessed. Time needed for this service is generally estimated at 2 days per data source. This includes preparation of any agents, processes or development of other tools or strategies as needed.
Integrated System Testing
On implementation projects where data integration is required, Relavis will work with your organization’s infrastructure specialists in order to ensure that all systems are able to seamlessly interact. This activity will include analysis of integrated processes and quality assurance testing of all system integration points.
Implementation Consulting
There are a number of key tasks to be executed by the customer Project Team during the deployment. We encourage our customers to evaluate available resources to complete these tasks. If help is needed, Relavis can provide a specialist to work on site during the project to help prepare for the Pilot. The specialist can aid the Project Team with many tasks associated with the project, which include:
- Review the readiness of hardware and software installations
- Assistance with System configuration and development environment
- Assistance with data conversions
- Pilot rollout plans and implementation
- Fill in or take on project team roles when customer resources are not available
- Security issues
