GROUP Business Software Enhances Its Lotus Notes Email Platform With Archiving Technology Through Strategic Reseller Agreement With Unify

NEW YORK, New York – Oct. 8, 2009, – GROUP Business Software AG (Frankfurt: INW.F), the leading Lotus Application solutions and services vendor for midsize to enterprise-level organizations, today announced that it has signed a strategic reseller agreement with Unify Corp. (NASDAQ: UNFY), a global provider of application development, data management, migration and content archiving software. The agreement will expand GROUP’s current e-mail management portfolio to include archiving and compliance solutions.
Under the terms of the agreement, GROUP will resell Unify’s market leading content archiving and e-discovery solutions for Lotus Notes to its more than 2,500+ global customers as well as into the Lotus Notes market worldwide. Unify acquired AXS-One's archiving and e-discovery technology earlier this year.

In turn, Unify will resell GROUP’s iQ Suite, extending its archiving and e-discovery offering to address a broader set of requirements for messaging compliance and security. As a result of this agreement, Unify will significantly expand its current offering with the addition of anti spam, antivirus, process management, and encryption as well as access GROUP’s expansive network of Lotus users via the Bleed Yellow social networking site.
