Technical Sales Consultant
For nearly 20 years Relavis ( www.relavis.com) has been a leader in the IBM marketplace with its innovative, award-winning CRM solutions. We are now expanding our practice to include Microsoft Dynamics CRM. We are actively recruiting for a Technical Sales Consultant who will be responsible for assisting our direct and indirect sales teams. You will be providing technical and product knowledge throughout the various steps in a consultative sales process. Since this is a new line of business for us you will be instrumental in helping us establish this practice and will be working directly with the executive management team. In addition to assisting on the sales side we also expect you to assist customers with the installation, configuration and training.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the solution expert on Dynamics CRM, Relavis add-on products and the competition during the sales process.
- Conduct Needs Analysis with prospects.
- Prepare and deliver solution presentations to a variety of audiences.
- Participate in sales calls with prospects and clients.
- Maintain product demo databases and designs.
- Develop custom product demonstrations.
- Provide technical support & training for evaluation periods.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Desired:
- Minimum of two years experience in a technical pre-sales role.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong business analysis skills.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team to solve complex technical problems and work with both Fortune 1000 and mid-market accounts.
- Good practical understanding and knowledge of system and application design.
- Hands-on Microsoft Dynamics CRM experience.
- Proven ability to learn quickly.
- A commitment to excellence, integrity and producing results.
Compensation & Benefits:
We offer a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience. Benefits include excellent medical, dental and 401K plans. We offer a fast-paced, diverse, exciting work environment. Preferred to reside in the New York City tri-state area but not mandatory. We offer both an office and tele-commuting environment. This position will require a small amount of travel.
